Kim Kardashian funds a water well in Haiti through  Generosity Water

She post on her website:

“My friend Mike Snedegar invited me to attend an event for Generosity Water a few months ago and told me all about the non profit organization and how it helps fund hundreds of clean water wells in countries where drinking contaminated water kills thousands of people every year. This video made me smile. I wanted to help out and I am proud to be a part of this and so happy that I could help Generosity Water make a difference.”

Sophia Martelly safe driving campaign “Malè pa gen prejije”

8 Mar

So we found these flyers on the FB page of Haiti’s First Lady Sophia Martelly.  This was a safe driving campaign, promoted during Haiti Kanaval 2012.

Tragedy has no Prejudice. Don’t drink alcohol while you drive Take Responsibility. Safe Roads for Us All

Some Suggestions that can save your life. Don’t drive fast, it’s better to arrive safely. Don’t drink alcohol while you drive. Don’t talk on the phone or send text messages while you are driving. Drivers respect pedestrians, bike riders and motorcyclist. Wear a helmet when you are riding a bike or motorcycle. You must always wear a seat belt. I wish you all a joyous Kanaval. Have fun, Tet Kale! An Remember Tragedy has no Prejudice. Sophia Martelly First Lady of the Republic
